John oversees corporate operations, structure, planning and development for the agency. He works tirelessly for our clients on business strategic planning, business development and creative and branding strategies. Before joining On Advertising, John gained extensive media experience working as a producer, photographer, reporter, anchor and news director for TV stations all over the country. He understands how media work and knows how to leverage this knowledge to achieve measurable results for clients. John studied Broadcasting and Journalism at the University of Arizona. He is involved in many organizations in the Hispanic community, and serves as the Board Chair of the Si Se Puede Foundation. John is perhaps the Cardinals’ biggest fan – the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team, that is.
Ron opened On Advertising after working in television for many years. He wanted to take skills honed in his broadcasting career to help clients navigate the ever-changing media landscape. As President, Ron oversees day-to-day operations at the agency while guiding the strategy, client service and performance. He does this by uniting a unique combination of strategic thinking and business innovation. In addition, Ron manages the agency’s Crisis and Issues Management division. Ron leads a nationally-accredited seminar that provides training for clients on how to communicate in a crisis situation and manage the impact of a crisis. His depth of experience and expertise is unrivaled in this area. Ron has degrees in Broadcasting and Public Relations from Northern Arizona University and in Meteorology from Mississippi State University
Chief Digital Officer
Irasema Jeffers’ leadership ability derives from her unique background. Ms. Jeffers combines seven years experience serving as an officer in the United States Marine Corps with 10+ years in digital management with eCommerce powerhouses such as Amazon and eBags. Analytics, usability testing, and designing based on user experience are the keystones for Ms. Jeffers' collaborations. Oh yeah, she can still do 30 push ups which is always great in a bar bet.
Vice President of Marketing Strategies
If you want to make Noah’s Day, call him a brilliant strategist and mean it. Noah is a true polymath, with varied interests in topics such as video games and game theory, politics, religion, sports, psychology, and of course, marketing and advertising. Along the way he picked up a bachelor’s in psychology and an MBA. He typically reads a few books a month, and has read all of the following titles: Eat, Pray, Love; Mein Kampf; 50 Shades of Grey; The Art of War; and the Bible. One of these titles he has not actually read, can you guess which one?
Scott lives for the challenge of advertising – of changing consumers' perceptions and influencing their behaviors with artfully crafted combinations of insight, creative, and strategy. Scott has built his career, and a lot of value for clients, capitalizing on ever-emerging digital technologies and creative opportunities. As Creative Director, Scott helps leverage these opportunities for clients. He’s responsible for developing the best ways to use creative to connect brands with consumers to deliver value and ROI for clients. Scott holds a degree from Glendale Community College with an emphasis in Graphic Design and Advertising.
Digital Studio Director
Jeff runs On Advertising’s state-of-the-art, in-house digital studio, and is tasked with leading the agency’s digital production capabilities. In this role, Jeff has developed a solid track record of producing award-winning work for clients across all categories. Jeff’s production work has earned several awards, including a Telly for a Department of Economic Security PSA. Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication with an emphasis in Film Production from Grand Canyon University.
Senior Account Executive
A native of a small island off the west coast of Canada, Darren studied at the University of Victoria. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree, he relocated to New Mexico to be with his wife and undertake a career in Graphic Design. It turns out, New Mexico was just a stint to get him acclimated to the Phoenix weather, as he and his family recently moved to Arizona to join the On Advertising team. Darren is a dynamic Project Manager and graphic designer. Darren believes in streamlining information through a clean and clear process to achieve a cost efficient solution that will increase productivity and sales.
Matt directs key accounts within On Advertising. He manages the success of the overall campaigns and the strategies involved. He is additionally responsible for the development of new business, presenting proposals, and transitioning new clients to the services team. Matt has over thirty international awards for his work in film, which gave him the skills to support B2B and B2C companies with advertising initiatives. Matt graduated Cum Laude from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Cinema Art & Science. One of these things is a straight up lie: Matt became a celebrity when he and his wife went viral for the way they met in preschool. Matt once fell off a cruise ship and had to be rescued when he was in the 8th grade. Matt was gifted a trip to Miami by Tyrese Gibson from the Fast & Furious films.
Social Media Queen
Michelle manages the social media for many of the On Advertising clients as well as the in house social media. Some would call her a guru while others would use expert; she prefers the Queen of Social Media. After spending time at Northern Arizona University she left with a B.S. in Public Relations and a minor in Art History. Michelle has over 6 years of experience in PR and social media ranging from weddings to healthcare IT. She has a vast knowledge of SEO and analytics but her true passion lies in social media. She also serves on the board of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s as the Marketing Chair and does all she can to help save animals in need; as she says “one passion meets another.” Michelle is an Arizona native with three cats, an impressive 19th century book collection and vast 80’s music collection. She may be petite but there is no shortage of personality and enthusiasm with her (and yes she was very proud of that word play).
Senior Web and Graphic Designer
Devin is a coffee-makin’, yo-yo-slingin’, fun-lovin’, child-like creative. He is a graphic artist, web designer, photographer, and family man. His greatest skill is mind reading. Okay, not really, but he has an acute ability to help others make sense of their thoughts and bring to life designs, photos, websites, and other concepts you dream up but can’t put into words. Devin served time at Northern Arizona University and came away with a B.S. degree. He is a second-generation Arizona native. In his office, you can find 3 Nerf guns, 4 yo-yos, a crossbow, 2 guitars, Lego men, Star Wars figures, a lava lamp, a typewriter, a Slinky, playdough, 11 empty beers (and counting), a Pac Man arcade, and a useless box. One of these things is not actually in his office, can you guess which one?
Julie is responsible for media buying, working with clients to develop strategies designed to maximize advertising dollars and increase ROI. Julie understands both traditional and new media and knows how to integrate the disciplines into a cohesive framework that increases a client’s bottom line. She understands how to use market research, ratings numbers and other data to formulate campaigns that work. Julie holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Tennessee.
Senior Web Designer
Cole began bending computers to his will in middle school. He got so good so fast, he actually taught his high school’s computer programming class as a student. In an effort to be a well-rounded developer, he obtained a degree in graphic design, which he says was almost a complete waste of time because there’s not a graphic bone in his body. So he decided to double down on his technical chops, and has held top technical positions in organizations like PetSmart and Barrett Jackson. When he’s not programming beautiful websites, he’s making sick EDM mixes for the European crowd. He’s been top 50 on iTunes in Belgium and the Netherlands. He wears a hat every day, but never the same hat twice in a month. Most importantly, he will destroy you in a chili cook-off.
